#15 OU vs Auburn 2/10 7pm

Beers was dressed out but was not going through pregame drills.

Well this is scary to me because we should absolutely be blowing this team away but continuously we make stupid decisions and let teams back into games against us this is a close game after one quarter because we foul players when attempting half court shots. Just stupid stuff that we just don't seem to be getting better at as the season comes to an end. It's so frustrating to watch

Literally a 12-point lead just turned into a six-point lead because we just don't defend and still play as sloppy as ever. Auburn is about to make this a four-point game

lol man, I don’t think Coach gives two squirts about TO’s… just stupid decisions. Nothing done…

Agree… not a popular take I know but don’t think with Jenny we will ever contend for a SEC title or Championship. Need to value possessions more than we do and I don’t see any accountability.

Do you ever listen to her postgame comments or interviews? If you did you would know that what you said isn't true. Do you go to all of the practices? Do you know she never addresses turnovers? That is literally 75% of what she just talked about in the postgame radio comments. Being irritated at players for trying to make impossible passes is a valid complaint. Saying Jennie doesn't care about turnovers isn't.

I think coach JB has been the worst she's ever been since she started here, this season. We have arguably the most talent we've had in many years yet this team is still playing as poorly if not even more so than they did when she got here her first season with a much less talented team. I see her crouching down the entire game just watching as a spectator, not as a coach. She wants them to be able to figure it out on their own while she sits there making her money...
I call this season a wash, we are most definitely not a second weekend NCAA tourney team and we've just got to live with any win we can come up with at this point because let's face it every game moving forward is a toss-up with how horrible we value the ball/decisions we make on offense/fouls we commit.

Definitely see Alabama and Vanderbilt as most likely losses. Nothing shocks me with this team anymore

It was a struggle without Beers….Gaston was too big and athletic for our centers without Beers to defend Gaston. Again too many turnovers…but luckily we forced 21 turnovers from them so both teams were sloppy with the ball. A key stat for us was 3 point shooting…in the 2nd half we went 0-10 from 3 and most of those shots were taken by Peyton and Lexy and were good shots. We got saved in the 4th quarter by getting free throws…making 9-11. Skylar scored 20 today…she is best when we play a 5 out offense and she can get space inside.

Next game is at Missouri on Sunday. Surely Beers will be back for that game.

I agree with some if yall frustration on Turnovers because im at all of the home games and some are good turnovers and MOST are terrible (Forcing/rushing/careless) turnovers. Its disappointing for sure. This game should have not been close at all and it was because of the turnovers mainly. At one point we had 3 or 4 straight turnovers and I was like there is NO way we lost a 11 point lead within a minute. First half we played pretty decent. 2nd half we looked completely LOST and so many turnovers in the 2nd half. I just want OU WBB to have 15 or less Turnovers in games but they seem to not be able to meet that because they go BEYOND that. As a fan all I would love to see is for OU WBB to have 15 or LESS turnovers in our last couple of regular season SEC games. Thats all I want. Well actually I also would love for Skylar to start scoring more when Beers makes her way back. If we can start getting Beers 16+ pts, Payton 14+ pts and get Skylar and Sahara to score at least 12 to 13 apiece in the same game from here on out, with 15 or less turnovers. With the bench scoring, We could be a DANGEROUS team. I don’t think these ladies realize how good they actually could be and its frustrating as heck. I truly hope things start to change around as we slowly start getting into March. I also notice we have gotten better at the FT’s as the season progressed. Now I would love to see the TO’s to start being limited.
I think these ladies can be successful if they piece everything together, practice more and stay healthy.

Also Jennie was NOT happy at all about her teams performance tonight.
She had some words on her team constantly turning the ball over. She was very Vocal on the turnover topic.
Great post game by Jennie, go watch.

I do not believe she crouches because she is not interested in coaching or is not coaching. Crouching is not as comfortable as standing. I wonder if she does it so she is not obstructing the OU fans behind the bench, plus the other coaches. As far as turnovers, I do not know what is going on. I still see this team as not having gelled and this far along, I feel it must be even more difficult for them to turn it around. But just my take. As far as not caring, I would say that is the opposite of Jennie.

We didn't play well, but even in a world where basketball officiating in college is horrible, women's worse than men's, calling a foul on that 3/4 length shot was one of the worst calls ever. Especially when they turn around and foul Peyton when she shoots a full court shot after the free throw, but no call. Sorry but you can either call both or neither, you can't call it one way for them and another way for us.

You are spot on. This team is going down hill instead of getting better. Needs to be consequences for so many turnovers. Have never seen it with JB. Coales teams valued the ball better than this.
Comparing the turnovers between Coale's teams and Jennie's team is comparing apples to oranges due to the the different offensive schemes. No one knows if there are consequences or not because we aren't privy to team meetings etc. We've had at least 5 players miss games due to illness over the past few weeks. We don't know how many have been under the weather but not bad enough to miss games. That plays havoc with practice, substitution rotation and any number of factors that enter into a team playing well. Hopefully, Beers is well enough to play on Sunday and the illness that's been going around has run it's course.
