Some may not agree with or like this selection, but Austin’s stats prove he earned it.

Reaves earned First-Team honors with averages of 17.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists. He enters the postseason ranked second in the league in scoring, third in assists, 12th in rebounds and first in free throw percentage (87.1%).

During conference play, Reaves averaged 18.8 points (second in Big 12), 4.6 assists (second) and 5.8 rebounds (fifth among guards). He is the only player in Big 12 history to average at least 18.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists during league play.
