2014 recruit

Checked verbal commits this afternoon and it says we are recruiting "Jordan Cornish" out of New Orleans. He is an undecided 2014 6'4 shooting guard.

Anybody know anything about him, such as whether he has visited, has an offer or maybe seen him play. Thanks.

Quick search has him Top 150 on Rivals and Top 200 according to 247. Signed with Tennessee but was just released from his LOI.

Just did a twitter search and saw several tweets like this back from when he made his decision.

Spoke w/ new UT commit Jordan Cornish. He selected the Vols over offers from Oklahoma, Purdue, VCU, Houston, UTEP and Wake Forest.

And this before his Tennessee commit:

Pretty sure we went after him pretty good a year or two ago. Seems like we backed off some, but I can't remember if that was him or us, and possibly b/c he committed. But the name, I definitely remember we went after him.

Seems to be a lot of recruiting options popping up late in the process. This might delay the final resolution of which players end up at OU.

I agree, I think he is the back up plan to the current back up plan of those two.
