Has anyone seen the article from OKhoops.tv (see link below) detailing several of the top prospects that participated with their high school teams last weekend in Wichita Falls? The event is called the Elite 14 Showcase. Several Oklahoma teams attended including Mustang, Norman North, MWC, Harrah & Tulsa Central to name a few.

Article has write ups on several recruiting targets including Young, Manek, Landrum & others.

Loved reading this:

Brady Manek, the 6ft8 forward from Harrah, recently committed to the University of Oklahoma. OKHoops quickly found out that the Sooners netted a diamond in the rough from small town Oklahoma. An inside/outside threat, Manek is the most versatile player to play high school basketball in Oklahoma since Blake Griffin. The slender forward makes plays all over the court. From high flying dunks, to long range threes, the 4A standout dominates the game without dominating the ball. A willing passer, the junior forward seemed to make all the right decision. The scary part about Manek is there is room to grow in his game from a physical and skill standpoint.

Wow! There's a lot to like in that quote, especially the part I highlighted in bold. If the report that he is still growing is accurate, he could be a tough matchup in a lot of ways when it's time for him to put on the C&C.

Manek may not be done growing yet either. Wouldn't that be something if he added an inch our two?
