2017-18 Season: What Players Big 12 Teams are Losing, Returning, and Adding

Maybe this isn't the right thread, but I think a lot of people will forget about Manek and be pleasantly surprised by what he offers next year. I'm not saying he'll be starter or even play double-digit minutes per game next year, but I think he will be part of the rotation and will impress fans with what he brings.

Some have suggested he should redshirt. I don't think that'll end up happening at all.

I hope to watch both Trae Young and Brady Manek during the high school playoffs. There will be three (3) players from Oklahoma high schools on the scholarship roster next season.

> Kristian Doolittle .. Edmond memorial
> Trae Young .. Norman North
> Brady Manek .. Harrah

I saw someone say Brady Manek is ahead of Freeman. Is Manek a wing player such as Odomes?
Starters next year
young - McGusty - Odomes - Doolittle - Lattin

Rotation guys

1.Shepherd
2. Strong Moore?
3.Manek
4. Freeman
5. Jamuni

I think Buford and James are gone. If not they will be the 2 and 4 position.

Thoughts?

I think expecting a freshman to come in and immediately take McNeace's minutes overrates the one and underrates the other. It takes a pretty special true freshman to outshine an upperclassman, and I think McNeace is on the ascent.

I never said a fresh was going to over take Mcnease. I did say I think Mcnease should be the starter and Lattin off the bench.

Oklahoma State's Jawun Evans(6'1 So PG) is leaving for the draft. He will hire an agent. He averaged 19.2 ppg/6.4 apg/3.4 rpg/1.8 spg during the 2016-17 season.

Texas' Jarrett Allen(6'11 Fr C) is entering his name in the draft. He will not hire an agent.

Iowa State's Simeon Carter(6'8 So PF) is transferring. He averaged 1.0 ppg in 6 games during the 2016-17 season.

I noticed this today on nallen34's 2017-2018 season page and maybe someone can help me with this. I noticed that OSU has 14 scholarship players. Isn't 13 the maximum?

It is, and someone will have to leave. I am willing to bet they also lose a recruit or two since underwood is gone

There are unsubstantiated rumors that Shine's season ending back problems may be career ending. But it is likely that someone won't come back or will ask out of their LOI.

Ive been told Evans and Carroll will be back for OSU. We will see. Evans hasnt signed with an agent yet.
