I'm glad we still play them. It's even better when we whip them.

I guess this is technically OSU's home game. Last season, we were the "home" team, wore white unis, and it was televised under the SEC TV contract.

It’s not a home game for either team, it’s a true neutral site game.

Really going to be interesting to see how Moser schedules now. He has had the Jumpman and MTEs to somewhat prop up an otherwise embarrassing schedule. Without those, he needs to sack up and actually schedule good teams on his own, and PLAY A FREAKING ROAD GAME OR TWO.

Yeah don’t see any possible way the SEC is as good as it was this season. Need to schedule some quality opponents to balance it out for sure.

Not sure what to think about the SEC. It will hard to THAT good again, but then again, no one went into last year thinking it would be the best conference ever. I have seen at least a couple writers and bracket guys say 14 teams could be in contention for the tourney again.

This is where I think an issue could present itself… could easily see moser, having scheduled these two “power 4” teams just call it a day after that. Need to schedule some more quality opponents rather than filling it out with central Arkansas, UAPB, etc.

We'll play an ACC team although probably towards the bottom of that league. Hopefully someone like Pitt just to beat up Jeff Capel. I agree need to schedule one more power conference team at least. Maybe 2 have one on the road and one at home before conference play begins.

Nebraska will probably be good. Okie State will be better too.

Yep, if we don't play in a tourney, he needs to schedule at least 5-6 games against legit opponents. No excuse not to -- we had a good portal season, will have plenty of experienced college players, and can't have another batch of terrible home games after giving the fans no reason to buy tickets to the noncon games last season. I don't want any of the "we should play an easy schedule so we have time to work on chemistry" talk. Every team in America has to learn on the fly in the portal era.

OK. He's starting to "get" it. Nebraska at a neutral site is exactly the type of game he needs to be scheduling. If we can't beat the Huskers then we have bigger problems, but a W in Sioux Falls helps a ton more than defeating Coppin State in Lloyd Noble. We beat Richie Pitino's Gophers in "The Pentagon" a few months before Covid struck.

The bigger issue the crappy teams. Instead of scheduling from the very bottom of the pool, we need to be about 100 spots up from there in terms of the teams we are playing. Not saying we don't need a handful of solid teams on the OOC schedule, but the bigger issue has been our bad opponents have been REALLY bad when we'd be better off if they were just regular bad.
