2025-26 schedule information

Phew! That was close! For a second there, I was afraid we might actually play a quality non-con team at LNC.

How do you know who we are playing at home? And how can you complain about this game, which is scheduled by the leagues and rotates home and away on an annual basis?

I thought the third home/home opponent was supposed to rotate. But we get Texas, Missouri, and A&M again home/home

If you’ve noticed, the neutral site non-con games are what a majority of Power 5 schools are opting to schedule.

So OU is going with the trend, which is wise.

I can't believe we still haven't even heard any leaks on the home schedule. A lot of teams have already released their entire schedule, but I haven't even seen any rumors regarding our potential opponents. I just DMd Tyler Neal to see if he may have any info, since there has been no news whatsoever. I guess they are just waiting to announce it all at once.

The school waits till it is complete to announce it, but in previous years we had a lot of info from reporters by now. As each individual game was announced by a reporter, my dread grew based on the series of NET 300 teams.

Still can't believe we know so little about the schedule. I looked through the thread last year and by this point, almost all of the games had either been officially announced by the team, reported by Rothstein, or added on Bart Torvik. I guess we will probably find out all the remaining games at once, when they officially release the schedule.

I think the bigger issue is Bart hasn’t posted any schedule yet. That’s where we got word of most of the low major games last year.

Nice find! Where did he have it posted? I checked the team page a couple days ago and you’re right that it’s not there. I don’t think we were aware of any of the three home games. Makes you wonder again what the OU beat guys are doing. Looks like we play our first game on a Tuesday rather than Monday — the additional 24 hours will feel like an eternity lol.

Btw, those are three AWFUL teams, so I think it’s safe to say that Moser still hasn’t learned what type of home games to schedule. Pine Bluff is next to last in Bart’s ratings.

Rothstein announced St. Francis awhile back. I found them by going to "Funalytics" tab and clicking on "Upcoming Games." I then filtered by SEC and went day by day.

Obviously that is pretty meaningless other than just getting a general sense of how his system views OU. He has us as his 31st rated team, so his system is higher on us than most of the "human" rankings. Will be interesting to see how that changes as the season approaches. I noticed a couple funky things in his team page -- he doesn't list JN, for example. I'm sure he will adjust things as we get closer to November.

Originally he didn't have Jones either. I think Nwankwo is a tough projection anyway because he's never played a D-I season. I doubt it would move the needle much in these ratings.

And I suspect the four games yet to be revealed will also be sub-300 is Moser's history is a guide. We will need to do very well against the six legit opponents in order to be in a good position going into league play.

I give them a pass on ORU. Always good to play Tulsa and ORU.

With that said, how did oru fall off? NIL I’m guessing. Historically never really high but I would think 150-250 range and jump up years like with Max.
