2025 National Title Houston Cougars vs Florida Gators 7:50 CBS

It's a bad set. It's one thing to go for the three to win, it's another thing to run a set that takes too long to run and basically leaves you with only one chance/shot. There's no second option. If the first option is taken away, there needs to be a second option.
this
you could sell me on a 3 and everyone of your dogs attack the glass ... but that was terrible .

I was rooting for Houston, but did not want Uzan touching the ball at the end. His confidence was already shot.

I think he would have made it. Would have been a great ending for him. They hyped his story up all year on his toughness, give him an open shot for 3 in the last couple minutes.

GIVE ME A COACH THAT CAN COACH OFFENSE ALL DAY
Yup. The end of game Houston execution is why coaches are leaning towards just giving the ball to their stars and letting them iso at the end of the play. Houston ran two garbage plays, involving too many players who aren't capable of executing in that situation.

Exactly, it wasn't a tie game, just get points

Yeah, probably hadn't it run it much.

4 fouls total first half.
26 in the second.

Once again officials decide they gotta be part of the game. Sad. They ruined it.
if Duke didn't choke we would have had an epic high scoring title game ... not that slug fest

It wasn't the last set and it wasn't Uzan. Houston had several stupid fouls and turnovers in the last 10 minutes of the game, particularly on #4. Without those, it wouldn't have come down to the last possession. I saw one commentator say that they didn't have the depth they have had in past years. When those two players got 4 fouls each, they didn't have quality subs.
