2025 National Title Houston Cougars vs Florida Gators 7:50 CBS

Insufferableness is all subjective. He just won a championship so can’t fault enthusiasm.

But seems like the guy who would find himself under Title IX investigations based on a thirty second sound clip.
He was whining the entire game. Of course, it worked for him in the second half. Bought a bunch of fouls with it. Very Bill Self like.

Still not the biggest fan of this play, but Sharp just has to pump fake and side step and he gets a clean look. Still don't like how long it takes to get into the set and then how long it takes.

We could easily see that Uzan's confidence had been shattered. Florida knew he was not going to take the last shot, so not sure why he even touched the ball on that last play.
That was strange imo. I thought the same thing. But I guess they needed someone to pass it. I imagine that cryer ran a decoy cut and then sharp came off of it.

Nm looked like maybe cryer was a first option but I don't think so bc it was in all of the congestion and too tight. The look was always to sharp and clayton made a great play imo

Unbelievable defensive sets by Florida down the stretch of that game. They protected the line on that last possession like they were in Houston's huddle, have to give credit when it's due. Was a reverse of what Houston did to Duke 2 days ago. Great game.

Of course easy to say now.. he thought he was open and then clayton flew in out of no where..

Clayton has one foot past the three point line when Sharp has two feet on the ground and is in the shooting motion. If you're a shooter, you have to feel that pressure.

Bummer. Not sure Kelvin will get another shot like that.

I don't follow recruiting as closely as others, but heard that Houston has three top-25 players inked for next season. If that's the case, there's no reason to think they won't be back in this game next year.

Ugh more depressing stats for Houston, just heard on Espn first time all season Houston held a team under 70 points and lost..

That’s not how it works.

Walter Clayton is exactly the guy Porter needs to land in the portal to have long term success. Ranked No. 69 in his transfer class and now the MVP of the tournament.

It’s almost exactly what they did to Duke. Shoes on the other foot.
