2026 Transfer portal

If Chavez would play like a point guard, then she is a natural point guard in my opinion. She chooses not to play like a point and would rather constantly look for her shot instead of getting the most out of everyone of her teammates on the court.

There are obviously different opinions on this, but I just don't see Zya as a natural point guard. I see her as a good somewhat undersized wing.

Neither are natural pgs. Those are few and far between now. But they looked better this year when Chavez was off ball. More movement and it opened Chavez up for a great shot. There were also times Zya forced shots. Both did. Would love to see them slow down a tad and make the best decision. That seemed to be to difference vs good and elite teams.

Chavez’s strength is shooting off the dribble. That’s more natural from the PG position. She does need to develop her assists and learn when to pass and when to shoot. Remember, a player’s biggest development comes between freshman and sophomore years. I think we will see better assisting next year.

Just didn’t need to be off the dribble when the team is behind her and there’s nobody there to rebound. So many wasted trips.

It’s her Style of play.

Jenny gonna live with 15-22 to’s

Gonna make teams get out of their comfort zone.

Zya has played nothing but PG for years. Lol idk what you are watching but she literally plays PG in every AAU team she has ever played. Aaliyah however did not.

Aaliyah didn’t go to Texas because Vic told her she is a shooter so he wanted her to be a SG and she didn’t want that. She wanted to be a PG. Aaliyah is Twice better when she is playing SG than PG.

Playing pg & being a true pg are different. Zya can handle the ball and score, but she isn’t a great passer. Still the best option we had in my opinion.

Tom, your last post is kinda what I have been trying unsuccessfully to say. I would have liked to see Peyton at point instead of zya, but get and agree with your point.

It’s hard to say things in here. People take it all negative, instead of a conversation. Think we can all agree we like these young ladies. Just talking.

OSU will let her be ball dominant and run a McGill centric team...in that respect it makes sense for Liv

Also sure OSU gave her a huge NIL/Rev Share deal
