The transfer portal has started as early as a week and a half before 25/26 Basketball season.

goodness, that's very early to enter the portal. assuming the kids that enter will probably leave at the end of the semester and have to sit out wherever they end up next semester?

That is what Heyer has indicated she will do…graduate in December and then go to her new school for spring semester to practice and get ready for 26/27 season

with as much as they are struggling right now, i'm not surprised. something is going on. They have too much talent to be this noncompetitive.
Wonder if it’s Skinner? She was said to be released medically, but isn’t playing? Maybe not wasting a year, or injured again?

I was wondering why I wasn't seeing her play much. She was a top 10 recruit coming in

Something to keep an eye on

Liv McGill would be one of the hottest names on the board

Don’t know our $$ situation this offseason but we HAVE to add this time

How many portal kids do we need to add? Seems like we intend to restrict our roster to fewer players than allowed.

So what’s the plan at the 5 position? Brooklyn would be a good 4 but would not be physical enough to play the 5 all the time. Anyone have any insight?

I'm wondering the same thing. Right now we have 2 girls next season that are taller than 6'2" and that's Brooklyn and the incoming freshman Bell (both listed as 6'3" players) but they are both forwards. If coach wants to play smallball I suppose they would work, but my concern would be depth and the ability to defend and rebound against teams with equal or more height. I'm hoping coach grabs 2-3 players - 2 with height and also a veteran combo guard-type, but that may be wishful thinking. We will see what develops. IMO, this season we really missed a player similar to Skylar Vann - picking up a player like her would be great, but that may be tough. I really hope we can keep everyone that doesn't graduate.
