A Center has got to be the primary focus for the portal. We are not going to be better with 4 shooting guards, 1 F and no inside game. When Beers was held in check, I don't think we won those games. Need a top player, not a so-so big or someone who needs development. This isn't like Seattle men's team of the 1950s who won big with 2 5'8"O'Brien twins shooting lights out from the perimeter. No big, no rebounds, no 2nd chances, no fast breaks, no denying 2nd chances to the opponents.

I think Jennie has slowly been transitioning us to a taller and more athletic team. There was always a place for an ubber skilled slower player in the girls game, but at least now days, not at an elite level such as the SEC. Maybe the exception to this is at center. Although it sure helps to be athletic at that position as well.

Unless a player at a lower division has been ultra superior, let's stay looking at D1 players.
