Yea I would LOVE to Addie Deal here. She would be a HUGE get for us at the guard spot. Her upside is out of this world. And she is strong and can absolutely play. And she will have multiple years with us if she comes to Oklahoma. But my gut feeling is she is going back to the west coast and going to a California school or a AZ school. She is from California btw.

I truly do not want to go after no Seniors, I don’t mind 1 but I want us to go after players we will have 2 or 3 years with. Not 1 and done type situation.

yeah so many options already, and just imagine there will be many, many more entering after 4/06 when the portal officially opens. I really, really hope our staff isn't thinking that we are good with what we have and what's coming in, because that drill won't work this year. It worked somewhat last year because we still had Beers & Verhulst, who probably could have started at most SEC schools, but this time around we need 2-3 bodies to replace their production, and I'm not counting on freshmen. This is a fun time of year of anticipation, waiting to hear news. Just hope it's not like last year when there were crickets up until we got the 2 international kids, who really didn't play any...

Iowa State’s Addy Brown is currently the most enticing name in the transfer portal, as she entered as a grad. The 6-2 junior averaged 11.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists last season.

Brown entered with a “do not contact” tag and sources have indicated that there are four programs to keep an eye on here currently: Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and UCLA.

I’ve heard that there was a locker room rebellion at Tennessee against the full press and that led to changes and a losing streak. I think the coaches lost control. If true that would make me think twice about picking up somebody from that team.

Just because there is nothing publicized doesn't mean we aren't making any moves.

Grad transfers are in the portal now so you can communicate with them…Addy Brown is a grad transfer and it appears we are working on her recruitment. But on the younger players you can’t have direct communication…but don’t kid yourself some back channel communication is going on (agent, high school or club coach, etc). But those players you can’t have in for a on campus visit until they are officially in the portal.
