People can't truthfully watch USCe vs UCONN and think Crooks helps OU stop them in any way. She may score, but she would be such a liability on defense.

I don't know if OU needs to target a transfer below 6'2". They have guards. They need bigs who can score, are athletic, and can defend. The Final Four teams have them, and if they want to break through, OU will need them.

I don’t trust any of the guards currently on our team to score outside of Vann and Chavez. That’s a problem. Don’t want to rely on freshman for scoring usually.

Absolutely, the guards we have on our team right now are Vann and Chavez and Vanb was so inconsistent this year I think you need more than just two capable outside shooters on the team. I think adding two posts and one proven outside shooter or even two would help. You can't expect freshmen to be able to step in immediately and make an impact unless they are all Americans out of high school and we don't have any of those this time around..

I’m not surprised…. This hurts, but she was so hot and cold. I think I’m the long run, this may help us. Let’s Chavez be the PG and find a 2 guard who can actually make 3s.

I thought she would be a Sooner for life. It’s too bad for us but I wish her the best. The Vann’s are a great family. I hope she is leaving for the right reasons. Im betting she wants to PG1 and she probably will be somewhere.

Vann wouldn’t have started this year if we had gotten Kneepkins. She’s good but 10 points per game is replaceable in the portal.
