Won’t happen and maybe she felt betrayed by Oklahoma choosing a Texas player over her. A freshman shooting 25% of the team shots. Maybe she should go to Tech. Crazy way to treat a “legacy”If vann ends up transferring to Texas she deserves to get booed by every single sooner fan, IMO. That's just a traitorous act from someone who is a legacy. And I think they can do better than her anyway. Watch her transfer somewhere and then end up coming off the bench and playing sparingly.
This is dumb anytime you have a chance to get the number 1 player in the country you do it who cares about feelings.Won’t happen and maybe she felt betrayed by Oklahoma choosing a Texas player over her. That would be a very Aggie thing for our fans to do. You want OU fans to treat her the way OSU fans treated Lexie Keys?If vann ends up transferring to Texas she deserves to get booed by every single sooner fan, IMO. Every player on every team knows they might be recruited over, legacy or not.Won’t happen and maybe she felt betrayed by Oklahoma choosing a Texas player over her. A freshman shooting 25% of the team shots. Maybe she should go to Tech. Crazy way to treat a “legacy”
More just giving him a hard time wanting her to be treated bad. They sure can be recruited over and should be. Iron sharpens iron.Every player on every team knows they might be recruited over, legacy or not.
She’s a PG and wants to develop as a PG to go pro. It’s not that shocking she would look for the opportunity to do so. She wasn’t getting that here apparently. I’m sure it was a hard choice. No clue about why her sister wasn’t recruited.Vann was not recruited over, she was the starting 2-guard all season long. I thought that she played well and liked watching her play. The sad part is that she would have been a key part of the team next year. She was a major legacy with her Dad playing at OU and her sister Skylar being a great player at OU. The thing that bothers be is that her younger sister who is 6'3" is at Stephen F. Austin, I would have thought she could have been on the team that had 5 open spots. Something is strange with that situation.
Vann will not be the starting PG at Texas. She will be in a lot worse situation than at OU.She’s a PG and wants to develop as a PG to go pro. I don’t see her going to Texas. If she has the goals she always has, she needs to look for s team that isn’t stacked. Opportunity and Challenge against tough opponents. Kind of like here. So, just stay!Vann will not be the starting PG at Texas. She will be in a lot worse situation than at OU.
She sent to SFA not ACU and I believe medical redshirt. The 6’6 girl from Florida State was/is here for a visit. I’m not sure who else. Maybe Parks and she wouldn’t need a visit.I think van was given every opportunity to prove herself starting every single game and playing a great amount of minutes, she was hot and cold all season long and missed some opportunities but was still given chance after chance. I just don't know that any other program will give her more time on the court. I don't think her sister was recruited because she just simply isn't good enough to play in the sec. I don't even think she played much at all for Abilene Christian, looking at their box scores maybe she was injured, IDK.
As more and more solid players are getting snagged up in the portal the more I become a bit frustrated. Maybe they are taking their time trying to vet players but while they do so other programs are grabbing them if we miss out on both Brown and Crooks from Iowa State than who else are we pursuing? Those are the only two names we have been linked to that I am aware of. If I'm not correct and there are other names please let me know
Men i guess have 2 committed. Women have nothing, and won't for a while. Women's program will be taking a major step back this year. Replacing 2 top assistants, as well as Beers, is a lot for a team without a lot of money to overcome. On the surface, getting frustrating nothing definite is happening in either women's or men's basketball portal activities.
This is a very positive sign. From what I’ve seen on this board, you are wrong on just about everything.Men i guess have 2 committed. Women have nothing, and won't for a while.
