Meh, a Sweet 16 ceiling sucks. Knowing our rivals like UT are so, so far ahead of us, in both men's and women's basketball, sucks.
SC, UConn, Texas, they all have around a $12 million budget to our $8 million. How much did you pony up on the day of giving yesterday?

She's definitely a poor man's Jordan Lee, IMO, but that's still good! I don't care what anyone says about this but kids these days just have no loyalty, you would think Texas would be the last place she would want to go considering her family but like I said kids these days... Do what's best for your wallet I just hope it works out for her and she doesn't regret it

So are we actually in on any centers behind possibly Davis who most likely will go to USC? Seems like Crooks is looking elsewhere and brown might be as well, they both have taken tours at other schools more recently
She’s good enough for all schools. You’re about to see that. Dawn Staley and Vic wanting her tells you enough. You all will see what a player looks like in a well run system. She’s just as good as Lee. One is just coached with discipline.

I think it might be a good place for her. I do not know about starting but believe she will get quality minutes. I am hoping she does.
Lol it’s not trash talking. It’s discipline. We don’t have it and it’s been called out for a few years. Let them run wild and throw it away and shoot before the team is down to even rebound. Add discipline, they’re as good as Texas. But trash talking our players is acceptable. Gtfo
don’t think anyone was trash talking our players. Just didn’t think she was Texas good based on how she played against top teams. She didn’t see to have a problem with the offense when she came down to shoot quick threes or wild shots in the lane. A different system may make her a better player, but it was her choice to play in this system so I don’t think it’s fair to call out JB for lack of discipline.
All Is Fair. She hunted shots because they allowed a freshman to do so. I would have done the same. Especially with the shooting percentages. Beers and Verhulst were shot out too. Beers draft stock plummeted. Saying she’s a poor man’s Lee is pathetic. Jennie needs to add discipline if we want to go further than the Sweet 16. If that’s even an option this year. Losing Vann is a huge loss.
Hhahahahhahahahahahahah, your right Tom. But please keep in mind that Zya would not have played a single minute to this point under Vic. Now that she has grown over 2 years with playing time and half their roster leaving she may get some time there. But, unless she plays exactly the way Vic wants her too...she won't see half the time she got here. At best she will back up Preston to give her a rest. Zya was ranked in the mid 40's coming out of highschool. I don't think Texas has a single player getting minutes that was ranked that high coming out of highschool and certainly not the four 5 stars they have coming in next year.
It's real easy to be disciplined when you have a deep roster...which the top schools will have. No way south carolina/Texas/USC/LSU and now Vanderbilt have their current rosters without a 3+ million dollar NIL budgets. Good luck keeping those kids happy...but when you can buy a new team every year it doesn't matter. The super teams will only get worse over time.
I completely agree. She will be able to play to her strengths and Vic will do an excellent job of developing her and teaching her to play with discipline.

I think her problem against the league's best guards was physicality. She couldn't deal with their physicality and wasn't physically strong enough herself.
I give money to the NIL collective (which is more than most on here do). I have some go to football, then some to a general pool.
I am also only 35, so not making millions yet. But nice try. Bet you thought you had me. Lol
