2026 Transfer portal

I didn't even know she was interested in stillwater. I know she just took a tour of Maryland's like 2 days ago... Someone is reaching into their pockets deeply in Stillwater if they land her on top of McGill..
On top of Sneed. They had a big donor. I think we’re done in the portal. Everyone we hosted committed, unless they can find one more. Actually, I think Addie Brown is still on visits and has UCLA and Vanderbilt left.

So Crooks, Trygger, Davis have all committed?

Davis committed to USC I just saw. If we strike out on sinners in the portal we are absolutely screwed next season. There's no way we're going to be competitive in the SEC with the two forwards on our roster and the French walk on who played about 5 minutes all season

Seems like Crooks to OK State may be happening. Will be interesting to see just how good they’ll be next year.

Today they added Nènè Ndiaye, the leading scorer from Rutgers. Ndiaye is a 6’1” forward who shot 42% from three.

OSU should be a high scoring team again next season:

LA Sneed
Liv McGill
Stailee Heard
Nènè Ndiaye
Talexa Weeter (D2 player of the year who averaged 27.5 ppg as a 6’0” guard)

Been reported Crooks is a lock for (shock) OSU.

Been reported Crooks is a lock for OSU as in Oklahoma State, Trygger to UCLA… and Davis committed today.

That 5 is a squad already. Add Crooks and whew!

Well someone is not sitting on their rear ends and actually pursuing players aggressively. I'm still not convinced our coach does that. Especially with how many players we miss out on that come visit. There's something she's not doing to seal the deal. OSU gets solid transfers every season so I wonder what's going on there. Is it all just about money?

Yes, it's mostly about money.

They also lose all their players. Liv and LA didn’t go to Stoolwater because they wanted to. They also wouldn’t want to come to Norman, OK. Most don’t. So, if we don’t have money, we’re not getting recruits that don’t have ties here. Not going to happen.

We have players that we are already paying. If you are going to talk about how successful some of these teams are in the portal you should also look at how poor they are at retention. JB has been really good at retention. We do have a hole to fill at center and good centers are few and far between and command top dollar. Really, Brooklyn isn’t a bad option. I think she will be fine on offense. She will need to improve on defense and watch the fouls. She’s a good blocker.

But the top teams have players They’re paying And money to compete. Not the coaches fault we’re don’t have a big donor. Was hoping the Young family would help get a center, since they were big on Chavez committing here. You would think they would want to help keep her. But we can only offer what is available, and great teammates that stay isn’t enticing anymore I guess. Different times.

No decent center, sweet 16 a maximum unless were are shooting 50% from the floor, hitting 40% from 3, playing a pressing D and having say 10 TOs per game.
A lot to ask.

a little over 2/3 of the portal has not committed......so potential centers still out there....plus there could be a juco player...plenty of time to find someone.
I still do not know what to expect from Daffa....yes, the fact that she did not play this year is disappointing but Caya did not play much the year before and had a lot of minutes this year....some of which were very good.......everyone talks about her dribbling but I thought she was playing with a wrist injury this year.......turnovers have to improve even if we obtain a good center......, our turnovers seemed to be really careless this year......and our three point shooting was not good.......but we did make it to the sweet 16 by playing a great game against Mich St....next season, if we play well, improve over the season and make it to a sweet 16, I will be happy...an elite eight would make me ecstatic...........AND I really thought I saw more sloppy play this year than in any previous years under Jennie......the team did not seem as cohesive as last year......of course, we lost some really good players to graduation that we were not able to replace
