True, plus, it could up Crooks value and interest if teams thought team A wanted her. Could see agents, family, friends putting that out. I imagine many rumors are spread for different reasons.......and then there is just the fact that someone has time to write on the internet. It is difficult to actually know anything unless you hear from someone whom you can trust and they say they have x,y,z as evidence.

I was also just told about these 2 players from a credible source. Smith is a done deal and the Maryland girl is entertaining the idea. Apparently Davis from FSU said she was coming but then backed out of that after USC offered her more. Crooks did have several convos with the staff but was asking $1.4 million, which JB didn't feel was a smart move (and she is probably correct). Still not sure about Addy Brown, but if we land those 2 bigs previously mentioned I'd consider this to be a GREAT portal class!

Smith would be a great addition. I haven't seen the girl from Maryland play but prior to her injury she averaged 8ppg and almost 7rpg, which is solid. Could be a great piece to add to the rotation down low. We need depth and if we added both we'd certainly have that.
I guess if I have to have a point it is that they do not stay anywhere very long. The article that bearcreekfan referred to in his 10:56 post was Momodu was at 2 JUCOs- Eastern Florida and Gulf Coast State.
