Good grief Caya is frustrating to watch. She throws the ball away, steals a ball but tries this weird eurostep that she never is able to score on and misses both free throws. and here come more TOs...up 12-10 but they've scored 7 in a row on us on acct of guess what?? Sloppy play!


update: 2-3 more turnovers since then and now they are up 16-12...good grief we seem to try to play at a pace we just aren't capable of, keeping teams in games. our own worst enemy.

It’s not the step, it’s that she’s not a ball handler. She is forcing herself to get to the right side. No left hand.
 
we are up 40-38 at halftime. Every time McGill gets the ball down low we foul her. 17 point for her and 10 of them are from the ft line. Beers and Vann w/2 fouls each sat out almost all of the 2nd quarter. If we continue throwing the ball away this carelessly we will be on a flight back home tonight.

We don't ever seem to play well in post-season conference tourneys for some reason. Hope we can at least regroup and play better here in the 2nd half.
 
McGill is a stud… no doubt.

Settled down. UF was up ..11..?.. at half in Norman. Beers will be back in but Stewart is playing well.
 
We also need Sahara to step up. She didn't contribute much in the first half. We can't have Beers sitting on the bench. I do think the refs focus on her, knowing that she's prone to foul.
 
Stewart and Lofton playing good together. Lofton has the best defense on the court. If they all played with that intensity on the defensive end, we’d be a tough tough team.

I like smith def and rebounding… ball handling not so much.

lol I don’t say much positive.. on the guys side, except when they win.. most of my issues are with moser.. players are doing their best.

My big issue with the women’s team is the really boneheaded TO’s…which are usually due to really bad basic skills - passes, angles, etc…

I really like our Fr, got a great building block
