#8 OU vs Mississippi St 2pm 1/4

heard the announcers say that Chavez was still not feeling well.

EDIT: She looks like she feels worse than on Thursday. Not her play, just pale, stressed.

48-22 at half…our defense has them totally out of rhythm on offense. Chavez has 15

Good win. MSU is a terrible shooting team. I sat on the floor with my daughter, and I was afraid we might get hurt by one of their 3pt bricks. LOL.... I really think Caya can be a very good/disruptive on-ball defender. She is able to keep guards in front of her.

This stretch of games will tell us what we really are made of. I think we are good enough to beat all these teams if we play well, stay out of foul trouble and play good defense.

I think we can do it. But we also need Aaliyah to get to feeling better by Thursday. I need her to take care of herself!

Very good win, but OU can even be better than this. They missed a lot of opportunities, but turned it over far less than last game.

Next games will be brutal. Praying the flu stays away from the rest of the team, Chavez gets better quick, and they play together like they did today. Chemistry looks better every game and really enjoyed Verhulst. That was a very aggressive team. Sat two rows up from the opposing bench and they got away with a lot of dirty “plays”, for lack of a better word.

When the coach and players are taking post game at the score table, can we listen somewhere?

Your best bet would be to go to the ESPN app and search for Oklahoma Women's Basketball. Find the game you want to see the post game interview and then load the game and fast forward to the end. The post game interview will be part of the broadcast.

Also if you listen to the post game press conference posted above you will hear a lot of the same points from Jennie and the players available made in answering questions from the reporters covering the game.

Good win. But worse than their shooting, has anyone on here ever seen a lazier team than Miss State. They refused to run the court. I don't know if I have ever seen less effort by a college team. Wonder what is going on with that. Somehow, they were 14-1. Just seemed weird.

I just saw that OU moved up from #8 to #5 in the AP women's college basketball rankings! It's a long season, but I believe this team is deserving of a # 5 ranking. The rankings really only count at the end of the season though.

Looks like they have had a pretty soft schedule but they beat Auburn by 20 points. Maybe the flu bug hit them, too. 2025-26 Women's Basketball Schedule - Mississippi State
