Brady looks like he's putting a lot of pressure on himself trying to put the ball in the hole. And while I love his enthusiasm I don't think he's looking at his contribution properly.

The advances Brady's made away form the ball this season have more than made up for any fewer baskets. We need every iota of his rebounding and screening and ability to mix it up inside. Solid position D combined with doing those things is just a HUGE contribution already. Any points going with it is icing.

Now I'm not saying they're not a stronger team with a consistent stretch 4. But the key to winning games lies first in the other stuff. And Brady has been doing well and should really bear down there when a shot doesn't fall.

Those shots will drop for him soon enough.

you could see his frustration when he missed those two bunnies when he got fouled. sophomore pressure slump. reminds me of cj after buddy and co left. just needs to be patient. it won’t last much longer.

exactly! I wish he could just step outside the bubble for a moment and see himself objectively. He's doing many good things out there as it is so don't fret the shooting percentages. Those work out in the wash when you practice and keep shooting. just ask PG13.

I have noticed that as well cool. He reminds me of my son who played NAIA baseball. Nobody had to get on him because he was so hard on himself. As bad as that is in any sport, it's fatal to a baseball player because the game is full of failure. I also hope Manek can see his worth to this team and enjoy the ride. This team is fun to watch and I am completely surprised at how good they are defensively. Manek is a huge piece on both ends of the floor and he's only a sophomore. Enjoy the ride Brady!!

When he realizes he doesn't have to score for OU to win....he'll be fine. He is doing plenty of other things.
