With all the fervor over Trae etc... I must admit I am really intrigued to see how Jamuni has improved over the off-season.

I was floored at the improvements he had last year to his little offensive game. He showed excellent touch and skill. He was already off the charts athletically. He's like a gazelle. It's amazing.

Love watching that kid play ball.

when he singed i thought by his sr year he would be a big time contributor, now that this is technically that year (He red shirted, 4th year in program) i expect he will be an impact player on the 2nd line and when Lattin is in foul trouble.

If he makes similar improvement, he should be getting 20+min / game. His improvement should make Lattin better also.

The physical tools are there with McNeace and Lattin to get 8-10 rebounds a game; it's just a mentality/motor thing. There were too many close losses when they'd only have 1 or 2 rebounds. That shouldn't even happen if our center was 6'5. If Spangler had their size/athleticism he'd be in the NBA. My hope for this season is that they push each other to the point that neither is ever comfortable with their starting spot. If one of them ever gets the mentality that every rebound is theirs, we'll be in great shape. Guards like McGusty and Young should provide plenty of scoring.

those are excellent points man. my old coaches always useta tell us you rebounded with your brains and your feet. rodman was such a great example of that. he had physical tools, dont get me wrong, but it was the attitude and hustle. same with barkley.

I'd rather have him in there than Lattin. Trae is going to do wonders for his game too imo

most definitely man. Trae will be getting him the ball much more inside with an opening. I am betting at least a 6 ppg increase. OK, 4 may be more realistic but I really wanna stick with 6.

I thought he showed great improvement. Been listening to Fran Fraschilla talk about how he would be an All Big-12 type of player in 4/5 years. It's year 4 and I can see him being a huge contributor down low. He's got an old school post game which is unusual with today's NBA game but I love it.

lattin was so much better on D last season that is where muni needs to improve the most

Agreed. Lattin is better on defense. Jamuni is better on offense. If Muni can improve his defense, he'll push Khadeem for playing time. To do that, though, he needs to be tougher and stronger inside. He also needs to develop a mean streak. He tends to be too passive sometimes.
