A couple of thoughts/comments.....

Check out that lead Syracuse lost tonight, and lost BIG TIME.

Guess they don't deserve an NCAA bid either, huh boca?

Still can't wait to crack open a bote of bubbly tomorrow at 6 and find out where the hell I'm flying to to see our Sooners in a action. 3 years felt like 10.

We all have warts, including my beloved Sooners (WT's is that he sometimes gives the impression that he knows more about b-ball than anyone else on this board. Just kidding, WT; in reality, you probably do).

Your post to start this thread hit the nail right square on the head, IMO. The OU basketball fans – at least many of those who post on this board – seem to me to be among the most fickle in the country. These Sooners have overachieved this year, and it's mostly because we have a very, very good coach and a group of kids that have bought in to CLK's system.

Count me among those who are tickled crimson about the way our Sooners have played. And I'm confident that the program is on the verge of returning to prominence and I'm looking forward to being here to witness it.

Many fans are displeased about the way the season ended because this team was good enough to go 23-8 instead of 20-11, but as long we get into the dance, what difference does it make? Hell, I'd rather be an 11 seed than a 8 or 9 anyway.

Forgetting this year and focusing on the big picture for a moment, it's clear that our program is making a resurgence. I know we lose Ro and Pledger, but I honestly expect us to be even better next year because Kruger has done well in recruiting and our young players are very good. It can and will be like the Sampson years again where we take 20 win seasons and NCAA Tournament appearances for granted.
