Yep, that was the worst game we've played in quite a while. But, at the end of the day, they played their best at home and lost. There won't be any * next to the W in the w/l column for us.
 
He was 58% of their offense tonight and didn't commit a single foul.

That's why you should never take a conf road win for granted or get too upset with a close victory. It's never easy to win these types of games in hostile environments with everything at play. Sure I wish we played a lot, lot better in the 2nd half but we survived a kid having a career night against a rival. I'll take that every time whether its a 2 pt or 20 pt win.
 
We were a top 2 team in the country, on the road, playing a rival. You have to expect them to play their best game. Still, it's obvious we could have done a better job. I'm just glad we didn't snap defeat from the jaws of victory.
 
Defense wasn't pressuring him like they should. He lulled the defense to sleep on many of the possessions, but maybe that's his game.

He has a nice touch inside and outside.

Not sure if OU offered, but he would be great at OU.

So why didn't we match their intensity? Casual ball handling, dribbling around without any attacking the basket. Man this team may lose three or four road games if they don't change their attitude.
 
OSU played as well as they could play.

OU played worst game in a while on the road.

Still a win.

You think this is an ongoing problem, do you? You didn't see tonight as just the worst half we've played this season, but rather another example of a persistent problem with attitude and performance that's gone unaddressed for nearly half the season?
 
Relax and read this stat.

Evans took 31 shots tonight. He had taken more than 10 just twice all season and never more than 13.

Sometimes you have that day... He's a nice nice player.
 
We are in trouble with WVU. Their Guards are quicker and can penetrate better than this kid.
What I notice is we do not get in defensive posture to stay in front of a quick dribbler.
You have to bend over get a wide stance just like the Newberry guy that picked Buddy and limited his penetration after the first 1o min.

You can't stand tall and guard a penetrator. We have alot of improving to do before WVU!!!

Evans is more talented than any WVU guard.
