AAU season

[SOONERGRAD]

Last tournament this weekend in the Okc/Edmomd area
MAYB Nationals. Me and my wife plan on attending some games with some good matchups.

9th/10th division Ok Select with Llanusa, Johnson, and franks all on same AAU team.

Other teams Arkansas Mavs, Ok Blue Star, A loaded
KS eclipse team with some KU commitments in the 11th/12th grade division
And Ok Swarm HS in 11th/12tg with O state commit 2016 Jaden Hobbs.

Sure did! Went to most of them Except championship.

First game We watched The 2016 O state commit Jaden hobbs.
A dynamic scorer, OSU got a steal on this one. Don't know if OU recruited her or not but the girl can shoot lights out and takes care of the ball.
Will most likely play the 2 spot at OSU but ran the
1 most of the game.

Went to the night game which featured Ok Select 2017's trio of
(Llanusa, Johnson, Franks), vs Ok Blue star( Aaliyah Wilson, Hailey Tucker)

Great matchup! Great game! Johnson exploded with about 6
Or 7 three pointers! Amazing performance. She was unstoppable with the ball in her hands
And had an outstanding Block on a fast break. The kid plays beyond her years and with a lot of passion
Which is love.

Llanusa Was outstanding as usual, her motor never stops as does franks.
Llanusa will be a very special player for coach Coale I see it now, fits the system
To well. She rebounds, Hustles, plays defense, Dives for loose ball, shoots the 3,
Llanusa is one of those players who will have a 20 point 20 rebound performance and you ask your self,
"Did she really"? Cause she does the little things like steals in the passing lanes, and offensive putbacks,
And this coming from a long GUARD.

Aaliyah Wilson 2016 out of Muskogee is just a naturally Gifted athlete with BIGTIME
Potential. I see why OU made an offer in the 8th grade, the kid is a freak of nature. About 5'11 , Super athletic with College ready body, Good handles, sky is the limit for that young lady and from what I've heard Baylor, Texas A&M, Lousiville are the latest lists of her offers.

Also, other players from other teams that stood out to me.

Kenni Jo Lippe from Ok PWP, out of Adair strong body, not afraid of contact, I liked her game.

Miah SellAnd 6'2 From South Dakota big time player. Shoots the 3 handles the
Ball. She "WOW'd " me.

Jena Williams Ks Eclipse 2019 PG who played up with the High school

Makayla Foy ok swarm. 2018 PG I think OU is already looking
At her from what I've heard from an coach a while back. Nice Quickness, good handles, lots of potential if keeps working.

Wilson doesn't get much pub but when you can find something about her they just rave about how good she is. She and Franks would be outstanding pickups for Sherri if she is able to close the deal. We have a lot of work to do to sway Johnson away from A&M but, a lot can happen in the next couple of years.

A roster with Ortiz, Johnson, Franks, Llanusa, and Wilson would be amazing. Add Cox or Holmes and we would be back in the final four.

My Daughter plays on the BlueStar team and i will tell you Wilson is the real deal! She is as Athletic as you will See. Also i was there at the Select and Bluestar game,Hailey Tucker was not there BTW ,Johnson plays with alot of passion and has unlimited range. Llanusa is a great athlete and is super quick! Alot of great talent in this age group of 2016 and 2017.

I was wondering Where tucker was, do you know why she was missing?
I have yet to see her play yet. And I agree Johnson has some crazy Range hope we keep
Some of this 2016 and 2017 talent in state!

I'm not for sure why she wasn't there only reason i can think of is that we played in the fresh / Soph Division and she's going to be a senior.Tucker has good size 6'2" and can shoot the three very well. She is more of a prerimeter player but has some good skills.

I did also see Lauryn Cox play this summer.She is 6'4" maybe 6'5" and has great skills. she blocks shots , rebounds, handles the ball does it all.
