If you were a D1 basketball coach, how would you feel about another school making public the fact that they want to try to hire you before your season is even over? Seems to me that if you have any loyalty at all to your current school, you wouldn't like the distraction.

Except they may not even be the best program in their own conference. Other than that, I agree.

Agree. He should go to Texas is he has the choice. He's a great coach but has a difficult personality.

Just can't see him leaving for either of the jobs - he gets paid 1.75M at Wichita a pure basketball school. He needs to hold out for a good basketball job especially with his personality/ego - not a football school where bball is an afterthought.
