I have never watched him play. Is he the best player in the conference?

Went off for 36 today and is averaging over 20 ppg as a soph after putting up 17 ppg as a freshman.

He's a stud. Kind of flew under the radar as far as recruiting goes which goes to show spending a lot of time on the higher rated guys isn't always the best roadmap (to borrow a Boca term). :ez-laugh:

Burks flew under the radar because he was a 6-1 guard with attitude issues. Colorado jumped on him early, though, and they ended up getting lucky. He's matured a lot and has grown to 6-6.

There are a lot of 6-1 guys who would dominate if they were 6-6. You can't really recruit for that, though.

Burks is naughty.

To back up Sawyer, he was lightly recruited and committed to Colorado during the summer before his Senior year then grew four inches afterward. Mizzou came in late but he held his commitment.
