Question for somebody with a good memory/stat looking up ability.
For a single game effort how does this compare to Adams or Tisdale best in the NBA? I really wonder if they had a dominant as game by a former Sooner where they just out "athelted "a bunch of NBA players. There were times it seemed like he was playing on a 9 foot rim with college kids. He was taking people off the dribble, jumping over tall centers in single bounds, etc.
I watched the bulk of the game of my little netbook with an at times laggy screen and a little fuzzy picture and I literally had to jump out of my seat with the stuff he was doing.

Wayman scored 40 three times in his career, twice in the 89-90 season. That was his career high.
Mookie's career high was 39.
Alvan Adams is much harder to find info on.

Per Wikipedia and Blake's amazing night he doesn't top Mr. Adams.

What he did compares with something 3 All time NBA greats did as rookies. Blake needs to develop consistency and do that over a long period. But he's well on his way. If he enters the NBA dunk contest he's gotta be the favorite.

He had a complete game tonight, that is a complete game for him as a rookie. Thats what's really scary, if he stays healthy the sky is the limit.
He has a chance to be what Shawn Kemp would've been if Kemp hadn't got fat and had about 10+ kids.
What is lost among the amazing dunks he had is this is one of his best complete offensive games of his career. Sure he had 3 jawdropping dunks for 6 points, he was also hitting 18 foot+ jumpers, even hit a few fade aways. He also took a few guys off the dribble with his little spin move.

Harrison Barnes (SF) or Jared Sullinger (C). Sullinger is averaging 22 and 12 in his first couple of games with Ohio State.

I haven't had a chance to see either of those guys play. They need talent, it doesn't matter what position, but like the one poster said, they shouldn't be tied to any players except Bledsoe, Griffin,Gordon, and Aminu. That combination needs to net as many minutes together as possible. Everyone else is expendable. Really, I'd get rid of everyone else as soon as possible. Especially Foye and Butler, because those are guys teams are going to be interested in during playoff runs.

i know this is a sore point but everytime I see blake with a huge game it hurts to think what could be if the Thunder got the #1 pick in 09 like they should have...
