Clippers with horrendous execution on offense in the final minute are destined to lose this one.

If Blake had hit his free throws this would be an entirely different ball game. Crucial moment would've been when Blake got hacked by Camby and it was called a flagrant and he bricked them both.

Blake's statline 21 points (7-14 FG, 7-16 FT), 15 rebounds (7 offensive), 2 assists, 2 steals

Clippers jacked up 25 threes in the game, hitting only 7 of them. Obviously, if Blake isn't hitting his free throws, three point shooting becomes critical...

Did anybody see Miller for the Blazers run down and knock Blake out of bounds in the transition tonight. It was sometime in the 3rd quarter. Blake went flying, and I mean flying, out of bounds so I backed up the tape. Miller ran down full speed and gave Blake a forearm shiver in the back/side region an knocked him airborn out of bounds. Blake is a better man than me. I would have probably gotten an intentional foul getting him back a few minutes later.

Blake just got up and played. He told Miller about it later though.

If I were the Clips I might send that film into the league. There should be some kind of backlash for that.

This is in a game where he had a tough first half. Unbelievable. This kid is amazing. Than god Capel taught him how to play basketball. I just wish Capel would stop screwing around and teach another kid how to be the best big man in the world

There are at least 10 threads dedicated/talking about this flaw of Capel, why turn this thread into it?

This season already has the signs of a disaster, Capel is on over his heads, all that jazz.

Why turn this one thread about Blake into another Capel bashfest, isn't there enough of those already?

Looks like Miller got something for the cheapshot at least.

One game suspension, what a punk.

"I actually wanted to get him harder,'' Miller said afterward. "But he knew it was coming, because he got me good - actually a couple of times.''

Amazingly, the play went unnoticed by the officiating crew, which even caught Miller by surprise.

"I just remember getting hit pretty hard under the basket, so an opportunity was there. If I got a flagrant foul, cool. But I'm surprised they didn't even see it. But if there's an opportunity there, you have to send a message.''

Just imagine what he would be doing to college players. The guy is unbelievable. He may not even be 22 yet. If he doesn't get hurt he is going to be a hall of fame player. His numbers are off the chart so far this season. The only question is can he do this for an entire NBA season. I think he can and will.

Last time the Clippers played the Kings was Thanksgiving and Blake had a double double and the Clippers won.

Seems like I jnxed him with my foul out the Kings comment, he just picked up his 2nd foul on trying to rebound a free throw.

In fear of a 3rd foul (I assume that is how Vinny Del Negro justified it) Blake goes out with 1:45 left in the 2nd. He did not look happy about it.

Has scored two cool buckets, "falling down in the lane throw it up and swish it" and "going to try to tip it up to get another chance to grab it oh wait it just went it in the hoop, cool 2 points. "
