Magic up 35-14 after the 1st quarter, Baron Davis needs to stop throwing pick sixes, poor joke I know.

Blake with 8 points (4-8 FG), 4 rebounds (1 offensive) in 11 minutes.

Except for his first bucket which was a Howard goaltend, all his point have come off various forms of mid range jumpers.

Blake just grabbed 3 rebounds in one possession on offense before he finally scored.

There are times it still looks like man vs boys.

Blake with a strong first half which has featured the Magic resorting to holding him to keep him off the offensive glass.

Magic only up 19 at the half, 59-40.

12 straight double double now late in the 3rd for Blake with 20 and 13. His midrange game is showing a lot of improvement tonight.

I believe they said it looks like he is on pace to join Bird as the only rookies to ever average 20-10-3 for a season.

This Larry Bird comparison is insanely scary, Bird as a Rook had 21, 10 and 4.5 assists or so. Only rookie to ever do anything like that.

Blake has 20, 11 and 2.9 assists. Over the past 11 games (not including tonight) Blake is around 24, 12 and 4.5 or so. He also has 5 assists tonight.

Completely different skill set but still high praise.


If he could shoot like Bird then it would be just unfair.

There have been 5 25 point/15 rebound/5 assist games this year in the NBA, and Blake has 3.

The man is crazy good.
