Alondes Williams Dunk

Kruger shackled him way more than he should've. The guy is a beast and he showed it at Wake and again in that highlight.
He was going to take over after Reeves left. He couldn’t play defense when he got to OU. If Kruger didn’t retire I bet Alondes would’ve stayed.

Always seemed like him and Kruger didn't mesh. Some games he got big mins others not much at all. Guy would have been a superstar the following year with us. Happy for his success. Played hard & explosive... Defense was optional :)

Not sure his lack of PT, opportunity, or production should be blamed on LK. IIRC, plenty of games at OU where his body language and effort weren't what they should have been either. Kruger's style of play and offense didn't really "shackle" anyone, but he was a coach who at least demanded discipline and effort during the week and gameday.

Sometimes it takes a change or a second chance for a player to see they need to change things up for the better as well. Kudos to AW for taking advantage of it.
