What an unbelievable showing by our guys. Proud of the effort they gave.

Buddy and Jordan were especially incredible, but the whole team made plays. We had our chances to win, but couldn't quite do it.

That was one of the greatest regular season CBB games I've ever seen.

Absolutely true! I have seen a lot of college BB in my time, and this was one of the best ever!!!

Kept waiting for our guys to run out of steam and they just kept bringing it. What a game and we're extremely lucky to have a team like this representing OU.

Anyone who is not proud of the way our kids competed can't possibly appreciate an all-out effort to win in a hostile environment. They had their chances but just couldn't pull it off.

I couldn't agree more. I never clapped so much after a game my team lost...and I've been following team sports for well over 40 years.

Does anyone have Coach Kruger's OU email address? We should let him know how proud we are to be OU fans at this moment, and how much we appreciated their effort tonight.

It's a really strange feeling.....the way I feel after this loss. I'm extremely encouraged....not in a moral victory kind of way, but knowing that this team has more guts than any team out there. And they can play with anyone in any venue. This is a Final Four team.

I am in agreement with the rest of y'all - it was a GREAT game, too bad we couldn't finish it with a win. I have to think that the Iowa State game's effects had to be showing in the 2nd or 3rd OT. Fatigue can get the best of any team.

And ya gotta feel for Lattin, missing the front end of a 1&1 that should have won it in regulation. If missing that shot doesn't motivate him to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE free throws, I don't know what will.

But to repeat, Sooner fans can be super proud of their team tonight. Tough one to lose.

I have to say that is the best college game I've ever seen. I was initially sick to my stomach but then I realized that this team is the real deal. We always responded when we got down. We have I think the best player in college. I am encouraged and know that this team is special.

That was mostly a lot of fun, not all fun , and certainly history to be remembered. Thank you, thank you, keep it up guys. The best is yet to come.

Best game I've ever seen. What a game, had everything.

Definitely one of the best games of any sport I've ever seen. Our men were warriors and deserved to win with the way they played. The thing is that we will play bigger games this year than this one, and the heart, passion, and fight they showed tonight will only help them in those games.

When SportsCenter interviewed Buddy after the game, there were still several fans, both KU and OU fans, in the arena. Everyone -- KU and OU fans alike -- gave Buddy a standing ovation after he finished the interview and left the court. Dickie V shook his hand and said, obviously, some really encouraging things to him (though they couldn't be picked up by the mic). It was just so great to see such effort be acknowledged by the opposition and the announcers.
