I listen to a weekly podcast from a pair of comics, J. Elvis Weinstein and Andy Kindler, and each week they share and respond to emails and tweets from listeners, most of whom use odd and sometimes clever handles rather than their names.

Today, they responded to a note from a listener who went by the handle Lon Kruger Mellencamp.

I was left wondering if it came from a Sooner fan or even a member of this board. I mean, it could have been a fan of any one of several other teams, of course, or even someone who just heard the name and came up with the play on words, but I figured I'd share it, anyway.

LOL. I believe it's a simple play on words (John Cougar=Lon Kruger). Funny as heck, anyway.

Oh, I got the joke -- I just wondered if maybe that account belonged to a Sooner fan (I suppose any basketball fan might've thought of it).
