I will try to translate:

"I am leaving school early, and getting nothing but negative press. Nobody wants to see you make it. What happened to helping a ***** from the neighborhood?"

"TMG is on a mission. It's official that I am leaving school and entering the draft. So, if you see me and ask me why I am not doing another year, you might get ignored".

Hope that helps:D

Terrible terrible attitude.

That said, I don't know his personal situation. I hope he suceeds but wish he was never a sooner.

You would think his parents would offer it but apparently not. So so so so sad. :( :( :( :(
I met his mom at one of his HS games (she approached me when she saw my OU sweatshirt) and she seemed like a nice enough lady. She was at every one of Tommy's games that I attended and she was a popular lady with the crowd. She and John Lucas certainly seemed to know each other (they hugged when they saw each other) so Tommy certainly had some opportunities to be led by what appear to be decent people.

I know most if not all think he is not ready for the NBA, myself included...

but i think he knew from the day he signed at OU he was going to come out after this year...i honestly thought all 3 would be gone with a possiblity of one staying...

Whether he needs guidance or not, he will have his chance to make money playing pro ball...probably not the NBA, but somewhere...and if that is his dream then i support him on that...school isnt for everyone, and if he can succeed in life this way then more power to him...

Time for the hating to stop and support a Sooner now that his days in Norman are over (myself included)...

I know this may sound narrowminded (at least I admit it) but I don't think he was ever a sooner. He used OU as a stepping stone and he never seemed to enjoy being here. He couldn't wait to get out.

With that said, I hope he finds what he is looking for and succeeds

People want to be so negative about him but he had one of the best freshman seasons a Sooner has ever had at Point...

Now that he is leaving and we had a losing season he seems to be the guy people are piling on...sure he deserves a lot of blame for the season but he was a fun guy to watch, one of the most talented in the game...

Unfortunately he will always be viewed by many like you do because he played on a bad team and left early...if they had made it to the tourney and he jumped the story would have been much different...

He didn't play on a bad team, he was part of the bad team and part of the problem.

Sure he was part of the problem, and i pointed that out in my post...dont pick part of my post to make your point when it is right there in the line above...

But like i said, right now he is just the popular pick to blame all of the season on because he is leaving...i personally thought he was a problem a lot earlier in the year, but that didnt change how good a player he was...he just never allowed himself to be coached and reach his potential as a point...

exactly. thats why he gets piled on. Its not like he is the only one getting piled on. WW has and so has Tiny. Hell even Cade has.

I don't get your point. You get onto people for "piling" on TMG but its ok for you to say he deserves a lot of the blame?

I can see that i wasnt clear...

I wasnt referring to you or this thread per 'se...

I have just been looking around the board and right now the popular thing to do is slam his decision, reguardless if it is the right thing to do or not...partly because we are all just very dissapointed in this overall situation of the program and selfishly want him to return...

also those speaking negatively of him as a person based on facebook or other rumors...

So, in that way i mean just because he was partly to blame for the season, he doesnt deserve some of the treatment personally...

Maybe its still not clear, but i tried...

Good riddance. :clap

We don't need him. We won with Austin Johnson, Everett, Lavender, White, etc...Before him and he's the only PG that gave us a losing record.

We will bring in Juco PG that may not be as flashy but won't give us a losing record with problems to boot.

THIS TEAM WILL BE BETTER W/O HIM.

I know I made a ton of stupid mistakes at his age. At this point, whether I agree with his decision or not, I'll just wish TMG the best and hope it works out for him.

His attitude is extremely childish and immature, that anyone who disagrees with me is just "hatin" on me and doesn't want to see me succeed. I suspect that was is reaction to attempts to coach him up a little bit. Sad thing, he will bounce around europe or the cba or the d league. 4 years at ou, with some effort on his part, he could have been sherron collins.

He had a decent season offensively, but defensively is a totally different story. I'd go so far as to say AJ's frosh year in 2006 was a better season at PG than TMG had this year particularly because (a) that team had a winning record and advanced to the NCAA tourney and (b) AJ played on both ends.
