Saw on verbal commits that we have offered a 6'11 kid from England named Atiki Atiki (s). Anyone know anything about him and whether we have a chance to sign him.

it always kills me....(take this a huge grain of salt)....for a 6'11 dude his dunks don't seem super duper....

but not many 6'11 guys seem that way. Here's my reasoning...LOL...not that I was a stud but at 6'1 I could dunk in college...and even later in playing old man church ball, getting up around the rim was easy ( no dunking but close)...

so I'm thinking a 6'11 dude should be easily above the rim....but it seems the jump just isn't there for these 6'11 guys...

looks very athletic so that's a good thing...ready to see how this years team rolls.

NOT BASHING HIM AT ALL...:ez-roll:

While being a decent player in some aspects, Andrew Fitzgerald was the most "below the rim" player i've ever seen at OU. He was around 6-8 or 6-9, played here for 4 years, and I never saw him dunk once. I mean if you are that height, with relative arm length dunking shouldn't have been that hard a task. Either dunking was against his religion or he had absolutely no hops..

I think there were a few Fitzgerald dunks in the 2011-12 highlights. But he was by no means explosive. Lol!

I stand corrected! And with two hands... If he was in fact #4. All these years I thought Fitz was a terrible athlete. Sorry Andrew!
