anyone want to feel OLD

I was bummed back in the day when we never got one of Harvey Grant's sons. I believe one or two of them visited OU back when Kruger was our coach, but they ended up elsewhere. Same with Skeeter Henry's son. Heck, we almost had him on campus a few times, but seems like he always had grade issues or something. I think Mookie's boys played football instead.

Some folks have those genetics and some dont!

Feel really old. I want The Dream Olajuwon's kids no matter how good they are.

Not happening. Honestly not a fan anymore. I may look stupid but not worth the $ imo.
I don't think we get him or really try that much. He's just highly rated in the state so we have to try I guess. But it's just another sign we are old.

Hey, we agree on something. I think he is pretty overrated myself. Not saying he is a bad player, but I think OU can find a similar talent with a higher ceiling and maybe less baggage.

I still feel old when I think about OU football player Xavier Robinson being the grandson of former (one-year) OU basketball player David "Snake" Greasham. Snake graduated from high school in 1977 from Star-Spencer and came to OU that fall. Unfortunately, he only lasted that one year and wound up at a couple of small colleges in Oklahoma until he was in his mid-20's.

Wow, I didn’t realize that connection. I remember Snake. He’s a little older than me. I’m a John Marshall grad. My senior year, we won the men’s basketball state championship, but we also lost three times to Star Spencer!

I'm a John Marshall grad, too--class of '76.
