Pretty good game so far. Kind of shocking because I didn't realize Indiana was 10-20 on the season.

Call me crazy, but I kind of like watching Northwestern's methodical offense. Of course, I also went there for a year and a half.

They were pretty fun to watch. That #22 went off in the 2nd half. Funny thing is I was watching and Indiana had the lead through the 1st half and I just assumed they were the favorite and had the better record. Didn't realize the Hoosiers were that bad.

Yeah, it's been rough. Last year IU played w/7 scholly players and no returning starters. This year, they have a full roster, but have 6 freshmen that play. They started out 6-6, the lost freshman Creek who was their best player at 17ppg for the season. Sampson left the program in tatters w/only one player on scholarship returing. The talent level is raising, but they just played too many FR. Crean's a great coach. Next year they should be around .500 or better.

Crean isn't a great coach. Crean is a decent coach, but his teams at Marquette were very inconsistent. I don't think he will last at Indiana.

It's too bad because their best player, Kevin Coble, went out for the season before it got underway. I think Coach Carmody has let them play a little more free than I remember. But, they still pretty much reset the offense halfway between the three-point line and midcourt. It's the Princeton offense at it's purest.
