This is not FOOTBALL where each and every recruit sends a fax in on the morning or afternoon of signing day. It is not unusual for BASKETBALL recruits to get their LOI’s into the basketball office a few days after the first signing day, which is Wednesday. “Signing Day” actually runs from November 13 through November 20.

There have been prior BASKETBALL signing days where some message board fans almost go into meltdown because one or two recruits delay faxing in their LOI’s, or use the United States Post Office to mail in their LOI’s. I don’t know why some recruits do this, but some have in the past. So relax, have patience, and wait for the official press releases from the basketball office.

It may take a few days for all the LOI's to roll in. This does not mean that something is amiss.

That's sound advice, Trav. There's been enough meltdowns (over the football team) to last until infinity – and beyond.

Buford tweeted about signing day and has been retweeting people saying Boomer Sooner, so expect his paper in and he will be signing with us.

Khadeem Lattin has tweeted today "ready to sign them papers!!!" and is retweeting people saying boomer sooner as well.

Jumani McNeace's best evidence is retweeting someone talking about him signing today, and yesterday he tweeted about signing day being tomorrow.

So looks like all guys were likely having ceremonies or something accustomed to their high schools and will be getting their papers to OU soon.

Are you trying to tell me if OU doesn't land Chip Ambres that our football program won't remain a loser for all eternity?

lol

I've never seen OU fans lose it as much as they did over that guy.

Fans are funny about recruiting. In my opinion he three best classes on paper that were ever signed by OU were TMG's class, Drew Lavendar's class and Tony Crocker's class. All three turned out to be bad classes.

Gallon and TMG were gone in a year and the team was a wreck when they were part of it. Pledger and Fitzgerald were solid but not great players.

Lavendar, Turner and McKenzie all transferred.

Keith Clark flunked out. Scottie Reynolds and Damien James backed out of their commitments.

Last years class was not considered great on paper but Hield, Hornbeak, Cousins, Spangler and Bennett look like they are going to turn the program around.

My view is that the coaches know a lot more about evaluating talent than I do.

Just seen a twitter pic of Buford signing his papers with his OU gear!!
