B12 coaches unsure new shot clock will fix problems

Interesting. Seems like the only coach who's really against it is Huggins, who is nervous about the foul count of course. His team averaged over 23 fouls/game with a 35 second clock. Time to clean it up, Huggy.

I take nothing Huggins says on this topic seriously. He has made a career out of coaching his teams to play an extremely rough/physical game and banking on the fact that the officials will be too incompetent and/or intimidated to actually call the game properly. If you think his "Press Virginia" foul fests were bad, you should have seen some of the garbage his teams would pull when he was at Cinci.

This is exactly the kind of style I'm hoping the new "freedom of movement" principles will eliminate.
