Bears and Wildcats are 104-104 entering second overtime at Arlington. Sims has 47 points.

114-114 entering 3rd overtime. Sims & Nina Davis have both fouled out. The other 3 Bear starters have 4 fouls each.

I don't know how Baylor is hanging with Ky since 3 of their starters have fouled out, including Sims.

Had to laugh at that last comment: "John Calipari is saying why did you call that timeout?"

Unreal performance by Baylor. They had 7 players foul out and still played KY to the wire.

Baylor only had 5 players left to finish the game that didn't have 5 fouls.

Goes without saying that this game was a classic. Baylor will be difficult to defeat in the conference.

This was honestly one of the most entertaining college basketball games I have seen in a long time. Baylor proved a lot of naysayers wrong in this game. They were still able to take Kentucky into 4 overtimes, AFTER they lost Odyssey Sims and many of their other top scorers. Every time a Baylor player fouled out and you thought Kentucky was about to pull away, a new Baylor player stepped up and made big plays. And then they had to put in Alexis Prince, who hasn't played at all this season because of an injury. She made a huge basket and almost sent it into a 5th overtime at the buzzer. It was unreal.

Definitely recommend watching the replay on ESPN.com

Odyssey Sims is electric - 47 points AND she played a majority of the game cautiously because she was in foul trouble. She is just so entertaining to watch.

Can't wait for conference play to start!

Baylor sent a strong message tonight to the rest of the conference they are serious about winning another conference championship.

Not only that, but Odyssey Sims put up 47 points on the #5 team in the country, which is known for being one of the best defensive teams in the country. And that was in less than 40 minutes of play. She was essentially unstoppable while she was in there, and some of her foul calls could have definitely gone either way.
Wouldn't be surprised if all of the Big 12 coaches just got very nervous about this Baylor team. Better start planning those defensive schemes sometime soon.

The only thing better than Sims 47 was O"Neill's 41 as a NON-STARTER. The difference...KY managed their fouls. You cannot have 4/5 starters foul out of the game and EXPECT to win.

The game to see will be UCONN at Baylor on Jan 13. That will be interesting.

Sidebar:
Imagine Kentucky's #11 DeNesha Stallworth as a Sooner. HUGE recruiting miss on OU's part. She was in the 2009 class and from what I've been told...wanted to attend OU because she respected the Paris twins and grew up watching them play. She's from the bay area. She went to CAL and left a few years ago.

BU won the rebounding battle too. That is not good news for OU.

True...and they need to be concerned about OSU, Texas, and TCU as well. Plus, OU is not that far ahead of WVU who has only played 7 games to OU's 8.

Hate to say it but OU is average, no inside player

Well, the players are there, but ineffective relative to rebounding, strength/use of body and tenacity. It's directly related to ineffective recruiting as well, which was my purpose in bringing up D. Stallworth (Kentucky post player), who by the way, was the SEC POW. She wanted to be a Sooner, but the recruiting techniques allegedly used by OU appear to run more recruits off, than sign top players...IMHO.
