Most fans are idiots, too, but I wouldn't expect a coach to respond to them like they do with reporters.

Frank Martin (like Pelini) is an ass. I would be completely embarrassed if he coached my team. Norm was no friend of the media, either, but there are ways to deal with questions you don't want to answer or reporters you don't like without being an angry jerk, which is exactly what Martin is. I really can't believe there are people who let their sons play for that guy. He's like Bobby Knight, but without the wins.

baylor's zones are trash. why does baylor persist in playing it? they have guys that can defend man.

if they are going to zone, the 1-3-1 is better than the 2-3.

Baylor has been switching defenses regularly all season long. Against some teams the zone worked incredibly well: Northwestern- held them to 41 points at their place for example. And other teams like KSU have been able to carve it up.

Quincy Miller and Perry Jones just aren't very good defenders and Brady Heslip has his limitations physically on defense. But Walton, Jackson, Acy and Jefferson are good defenders regardless of what defense is being played.

yeah, i've seen that baylor is playing more man. but they still go about 50-60% zone. and the zone just isn't that good. some teams will struggle against any zone, even a poor one.

goemaw isn't for everyone.
