Best point guard

Also, while Morgan didn't have a bad game, she didn't particularly have a good one, IMO. Thanks!

Really?!? Apparently you didn't watch the game and did not check her stat line. 5 assist in a game when our posts couldn't score inside was impressive, 5 rebounds second on the team for the game, 40% from the 3 point line, 2 turnovers one of which was a pass to AE and she fell down so missed the pass, and 1 steal. She handled every once of the pressure put on her and kept the team organized and competitive with her leadership. When she had to come out after her 4th foul is when we lost a bit of control in the second half. The only thing she could have done is when she broke Sims ankles is pull up for the shot versus dumping it off. Perhaps she would have had more points which that is how most people judge a player versus how they actually play. But having said all this eughguy it won't matter to you because it is clear from many of your post you don't like Morgan and clearly have no idea what a great point guard does. You are clearly one of those guys that thinks they know basketball but clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

I think Morgan is a solid player. I wish she could prefect two things. A 10-13 foot jumper. She gets open but seems to be hesitant to shoot that shot. Learn to use the glass on her drives and layups. I think she could score 8-10 more points per game. She is starting to take up Whitney"s ability to get rebounds.

Agree. We have seen her make those shots but I think she is really trying to get the ball to others. She is at times almost too unselfish. But she certainly does a good job of getting everyone involved and finds the hot shooter.

There is an old saying in basketball that goes:"You don't need your point guard to be a scorer unless you need your point guard to be a scorer." (Yogi Berra?)

In the only game they lost, Sims wasn't able to play. She really is a great quarterback for that team.

I remember when she was a freshman and had a terrible game in the tourney and lost(I'm thinking it was the same year the freshman from Tenn stunk it up in their loss). You got the feeling that that wouldn't happen again.
