Big 12/SEC Challenge Thread

Nearly the worst over-and-back violation call I've ever witnessed - in Tech/Ark game.

Glad cooler heads prevailed. Another ref overruled.

Guy caught the ball at least 5 feet in front of half court. Wasn't even close.

You can be absolutely certain that the best games that Iowa St. and W Va. will play all year will be (and have been ) against us. Without doubt. They will be on fire on their home court..

Ark 29, Tech 28. Half

Tech has some athletes but very offensively challenged.

KU announcer said Big 12 still trailed 3-4. Wrong. It is currently 4-3 in favor of Big 12 now. Baylor and Georgia are close early in 2nd. OSU and Auburn coming later.

Big 12 4-3 and won the only one away from home.

Meanwhile, Perry Ellis just air-balled a technical foul FT.

Still not a very good showing from the Big 12. KU winning would help, but the Big 12, in both major sports, needs to start performing better on the big stage.

Agree in part (no Big 12 team has played that well start to finish) but going out of conference for road games this time of year is tough.

It will help some Big 12 seedlings. Although OU doesn't have to worry about seeding I would imagine every selection committee member watched that game today. They'll remember it.

UK leads KU by 6 at half. The way to beat KU at home is to have a more athletic team than KU and that appears to be the case so far.

Perry Ellis spend most of the half on the bench tough.

KU actually got some points from Bragg and Diallo, but they are fortunate to be down 6 with Ellis being on the bench for most of that half.

And the KU guards still can't defend penetration....which makes it more difficult for them this year because they don't have their traditional rim protector. KU has to outscore people to win this year.

Selden is single-handedly keeping KU in the game. KU now down just 1 with just under 10 to go.

Perry Ellis has been terrible, from what I've seen

69-68, KU under 4
