Big 12 Stats

We have played enough games that the Big 12 stats are beginning to have meaning. As many have said, OU has to improve in defense, rebounding, and turnovers. These stats confirm that to be true.

Scoring defense, OU is last
Field goal PCT defense, we are next to last
Rebounding defense, next to last
Turnovers, we have the second most in the league behind KU

Some of this has to be tempered with "who have they played?" Kansas, Texas, Baylor, and OU have played at least two good teams each. Texas Tech appears to be horrible against very weak opposition. TCU seems to want to find a place beside Tech, and Kansas State will join that crowd. OSU lost to the only decent team they played, as did West Virginia. We have played three easy wins. Most teams have played five or six with one decent team.
