Big 12

I spent the night watching Big 12 basketball and I figured out last night, the Big 12 is the toughest conference in the nation.

WV will be tough to beat at home and I can only hope that OU is ready for them on Saturday. Texas is playing good basketball and could be tough to be at home but will lose some road games, while I State is right now in the middle of the pack and why, who knows. TT is going to be tough to play at home but will lose road games.

Now for OU - the boys need to keep the heads out of the headlines and clouds, if they stay grounded they can win all their home games and should be tough to beat on the road, let the good stuff, like being #1, go to the heads and they will drop like a hot rock in your hand.

The Big 12 as of now could get six team in the big dance in march if they continue the pass that they are on.

Yep, I'm thinking 6 for the Big 12!

Kansas (1 seed)
West Virginia (3 seed)
Baylor (4 seed)
Iowa State (5 seed)
Texas (8 seed)

Don't think Texas Tech has a real shot to get in, and don't think K-State, OSU, or TCU make any sort of post season at all.

If someone finished better than 14-4 in this league, I will be shocked. 13-5 might tie for 1st.

OU has a really tough weekend coming up. After playing a rivalry game in GIA tonight, they have WVU on Saturday afternoon with their trapping, pressing, running, wild game that borders on being out of control. You know the one-loss Mountaineers want to knock off the 1 and 2 ranked teams in the same week to vault themselves into the national spotlight.

Then the Sooners have to get on a plane the next day and travel to Ames for a desperate game against Iowa State. After ISU's 1-3 start, they are clawing to get into the B12 race. They will be amped to even the score on their home floor.

I am pretty sure the Big XII has the highest RPI of any conference. The best part is that the conference is really strong and OSU sucks.
