Blake Griffin era? I'm not even sure we had a better win that year.

Yea good question. I'd defer to some posters with a better memory. But I'd even say that the Texas win this year was a big one for us. Along with today it, it was the first time in a long time that that the game, team, arena and myself were all in harmony, having fun.

Our last top 5 win was against Texas in 2006. Unbelievable.

biggest win since BG and the sooners beat Purdue to win the pre-season NIT.

Prior to that, probably the biggest win since we beat KU in 2005 to share the regular season title with KU, even though we had the tie-breaker.

Anytime you can beat KU in basketball it's a big win.

I was thinking the Davidson win Blake's soph year.

Beating Pudue in NYC to win the NIT title was definitely a bigger regular season win than Davidson. Beating Syracuse in the Sweet 16 was the best from that year, though.

Regardless, today's win was HUGE! I believe it's the first time since "Ernie Abercrombie" that the fans rushed the court.

Those Blake years are such an afterthought, this was the biggest win for our program in a long time and Id say much bigger then any of those because of how down we've been. We needed this so bad for our program so get back on the map.

beating Purdue was for the preseason NIT championship. That's a legit high-profile tournament so winning it counts as a championship, IMO.

It has to be the biggest home victory in a long time. Kansas State was 18th last year. Texas in 2010 was ranked 9th.

I remember going down there in like 2003 and we beat KU when they had Hinrich and Collison and everyone. The place was jammed that day.
