I think it is going to put a lot of pressure on our bigs to be there for help side defense. I'm glad we have 3 quality bigs because I'd bet at least one of our bigs gets in foul trouble.
I've watched a few Arkansas games this year (along with five years of Anderson at Mizzou), and I don't think that will be a problem. They have no good post defenders. 6-10 Hunter Mickelson was a good shot blocker as a freshman (more than two per game in 17 minutes), but he's been awful all year (15 mpg, 0.8 blocks and less than 3 rpg). Their other "post" players are all face up guys who play no post defense at all.
Arkansas has also been (surprise!) foul prone, which could weaken them even more inside.
If ever there is a game for OU's inside guys to break out, it's this one.
With this game being on the road for OU and with OU playing three freshmen guards so much, it will be difficult to pull off a win. Arkansas is a good team if you let them play their style. But they also have some major weaknesses that if exploited can allow weaker teams to beat them. OU is not a weaker team than Arkansas, either. The talent is about even.
