Blair

kid knows how to pass and understands offense better than anyone out there.. he was the only guard that wouldfake passes and manipulate the Defense.. his D is really weak right now, im not sure he could fight through a walmart sack if it screened him! lets go blair bring that Defense up

I like how he plays. I'm not sure if he's athletic enough to play a faster pace game. But he can really play well if we are in more of a half court game. I would like to see him play more.

Capel said post game he has been ill the past week or so. I think he can help a little against certain teams.

Let's hope his defense can improve because to watch a guy (don't care who the opponent is) record 5 assists in only 9 minutes of action definitely qualifies as bringing the "WOW" factor. At least now we know the starting center is only the second best passer on the team.

Maybe we haven't seen the end all with Carl. He did some very nice things out there tonight, but his defense has to improve. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!

On his defense.... He was out of position and straight up abused a few times in the first minute or two of action. At that point I made a rushed judgment and pigeonholed him as slow on his feet.

However, on several occasions before the night was over, he surprised me with some decent speed running the court, and even a bit of nice lateral agility.

Hopefully his lapses have been a result of mental mistakes (missing a switch!) and lingering illness moreso than a lack of athleticism. He could certainly afford to play D with a little less gumption at UNO.

I think we're a different offensive team with him on the court. Really an excellent change of pace, if nothing else.
