Blake on a roll in NBA

No, I am suggesting he has no other reference. The only college coach he played for was Capel.

Yes but has had other coaches in his career and is smart enough to attribute some of his success to them.

Even though it pains some, it's ok for Blake to give JC a shout out. No here knows the relationship they had and if Capel made him a better player.

That is definitely true, but as a lifelong Lakers fan, I came to realize Rivers was a top-tier coach during the 2008 NBA Finals. He actually out-coached Phil Jackson - not an easy task.

Pops is definitely #1, and Doc is in the conversation with about 5 other coaches (such as Carlisle and Brooks) for #2.

Brooks is nowhere close to the discussion for second best coach in the league.

Anyway, Blake went off for another 36 tonight in 27 minutes.

the only person who has been stopping Blake is Blake. There is no one in this league who can match him physically. He just has to go out and impose his damn will on the game. Chuck and Shaq both have said this about him from day 1 and they are right. Nice to see that either Doc or the CP3 situation has brought this out in him. It's been awesome.

IF his arms were a few inches longer he would be the ultimate basketball player.

Trust me it isn't Chris Paul. Doc told him to shot the jumper and not worry about it. That is the difference. Now his can't just back up and he is unstoppable off the dribble for most power forwards.
