You know, while I can't stand Robert Montgomery Knight, I have a feeling that Pat is telling the truth when he said he didn't know his dad was breaking the rules by calling these kids. Still, it's his job to know. And, you'd better believe a guy who has been part of college basketball as long as RMK, knew, or should have known, that what he was doing would be frowned on by the NCAA.

I doubt if anything will come of this. But any fool can see that having someone like Bob Knight pimp for your program gives Larmar an advantage. Shame on you, you old geezer, for getting your son in trouble!

Pat Knight is 100% right IMO. This is so minor it's not even worth mentioning. There are much more important things for the NCAA to worry about than a couple of impermissible five minute phone calls by the father of the head coach of Lamar.

Roy does this sort of thing all the time at UNC and no one cares.
